If your passion for drawing goes beyond the traditional medium, you’ll do yourself a big favor by getting the latest version of Adobe Photoshop Touch app from the Google Play Store. Those who are looking for a more-than-capable digital image editing app while on the go should benefit as well.

The updated Photoshop Touch for Android tablets, whilst getting a chock-full of new features, is still priced at $9.99.

Initially, the app required a tablet with a 1,024 x 768 resolution at a minimum to run, but a check on the changelog shows that it now supports tablets with a 1,024 x 600 resolution (rejoice, HTC Flyer owners!).

Other noteworthy changes include smoother brush strokes, new Lens Flare and Stamp Pattern effects, improved grid layout for projects, tutorials, and images, quick sharing to various social network sites, quick access to the last five colors you’ve used with new shortcut, and the usual bug fixes.

While the Photoshop Touch app is still lagging behind its desktop counterpart in terms of features and functions, the app’s finger-friendly user interface makes it ideal for tablet users. Head to Google Play to get your copy now and let us know what you think of the updated app below.
