If you’ve been eagerly twiddling your thumbs waiting for your OUYA to arrive then there’s now less than a month left to go, providing you backed the project on kickstarter that is. Over 10,000 backers will receive their OUYA come the end of the month, but the rest of us will still have to wait until June for the full retail launch.
OUYA has put a post up on its blog suggesting that you keep an eye out for an email in your inbox which will contain a tracking number and expected delivery date. The blog update also talks about some of the games making their way to the Android based console; including projects from Left4Dead and Portal developer Kim Swift, a touch pad based adventure puzzle game from Minority Media, and The Ball from Killing Floor developer Tripwire Interactive.
It also announced that the popular role playing game ChronoBlade would be coming to OUYA, as well as giving honorable mentions to the winners for the 10 day CREATE game jam which took place last month.
Finally, OUYA is welcoming Kellee Santiago to its team in a bid to keep developers on board. Kellee Santiago is the co-founder of thatgamecompany and a partner at Indie Fund, so she seems like the perfect addition to OUYA’s developer relations team.
Looks like it’s all systems go for OUYA. Are you planning on picking one up later this year?

ouya will die. Why would we need an android gaming system when our phones can do the same thing?
