OUYA now available from online retailers for $99.99

After a minor delay OUYA is now on finally on sale for those of us who didn’t back the project when it started out on Kickstarter last year.

The little Android gaming console has already sold out on Amazon, and Gamestop doesn’t appear to be taking online orders quite yet. But don’t fret, if you’re a US resident you can still order one from Best Buy, Target, and the official OUYA store for $99.99.

UK customers looking to get their hands on one are a little more stuck for retail options. Currently Amazon is selling the console, but there’s a 1 to 3 week estimated dispatch wait, and it will also set you back £99.99, making it a bit more expensive than in the US. Fortunately, Game is selling OUYA at the same poor exchange rate price as Amazon, but will ship the console out to you in just 1 or 2 business days.

Canadian customers can also buy the product from Amazon for CAD$99.99, and it’s currently in stock, at least for now.

Here’s a list of online retailers if you’re eager to pick one up.

If you don’t fancy waiting to have one shipped to you then US retailers Best Buy, Target, and Gamestop will all be stocking OUYA in their high street stores too.

So far customers seem to be giving the console some mixed reviews, with some complaining about the build quality of the controllers, and others a little upset about the lack of games currently available on the console’s market, but that issue will surely be addressed over time.

If you already have your console or plan on picking one up in the coming days, then let us know what you think of OUYA.

Does anyone know if the issues with input lag have been resolved? I might wait until they put out the next model with Tegra 4.
