I posted my review of the Motorola DROID 2 for Verizon Wireless on MobileBurn yesterday afternoon. Here’s the intro from the full Motorola DROID 2 review:
When Verizon first launched the original DROID by Motorola, it marked the carrier’s first step into the world of Android smartphones – and it was a good one. The DROID, like the DROID 2 we review today, features a large 3.7-inch WVGA resolution touchscreen display and a slide-out 4-row QWERTY keyboard in a design with subdued styling.
Just as the original DROID was a good device, so is the new DROID 2. It still has all of the basic features users want, as well as some bonus apps and things like BlockBuster streaming movies and free Google Maps Navigation. It does fall short on the camera, though, lacking HD video recording and even great still photo capabilities.
But if you are looking for an Android smartphone to get some real work done, even on sites that require Flash, then the new Motorola DROID 2 is something to consider.
More photos and two HD videos from the review after the jump.
