Google Voice Search, Chrome to Phone for Android video demo

Google Voice Search, Chrome to Phone for Android video demo

Google just announced some cool new functionality for smartphones running Android 2.2 Froyo, like the new Motorola DROID 2 that I received this morning. Voice Search lets you use your voice to dictate messages, look up maps, play music, and even send yourself a note – all from one voice command.

Chrome to Phone is an extension for Google’s Chrome Browser that sends phone numbers, page URLs, YouTube videos, and Google Maps to your smartphone with the push of a button on the browser.  It is very cool.

Both Voice Search and Chrome to Phone are available for free for Froyo devices in the Android Market.  The Chrome extension can be found here.
