In the build up to its official launch on September 23, Oppo has continued to post teaser trailers of its upcoming flagship, the Oppo N1, on the company website. With every trailer, we get a clearer picture of what we can expect from the device, and coupled with various leaks and rumors, there’s a lot to be excited about!

In a series of trailers (we’re up to 4 now) that are expected to continue till the Oppo N1 is announced, the company has teased the machined chassis of the smartphone, with the latest one giving us our first hint as to the shape and design of the device, which also lend credibility to leaked images and a render of the device that have been published by GizChina. You can check out the trailers here-

Following the previous leak about the specifications of the processor of the device, we now also know that the Oppo N1 will feature a 5.9-inch display, larger than the 5.5-inch screen that was expected, but considering the fact that the device is expected to feature an extremely thin bezel, which should help keep the size of the device manageable. Check out the render, which looks really good, and some of the leaked blurred out images, and a leaked image of the chassis, of the smartphone here -

Finally, there are some more rumors surrounding what is already expected to be an amazing camera. Oppo earlier teased the availability of plug-in camera lenses with OIS and up to 15x zoom, and now, according to a report by Chinese phone website CNMO, the Oppo N1 could feature an option to take long exposure photos, which is an option available with only more advanced cameras. In fact, the report states that the colorful “N” logo that is being used to promote the device, is a hint towards this feature of the Oppo N1.

Hopefully they release it with Verizon cdma and lte bands and I’d definitely get this. But that’s a pipe dream. And even if verizon did get it they would make them put there logo all over it and make them redesign the whole phone.

      • MasterMuffin

might just wait to see the price of this before i buy my new phone

this would be my next phone if it had 1. t mobile lte and 2. snapdragon 800. i’ve been reading everything i can on this phone and it seems it isn’t getting either :(
i’ll wait for the announcement but so far pretty bummed.
it’s supposedly supposed to be pretty cheap though (like less than $500 off contract)

This could be better than Note 3!

      • carlosfrancoz

Yep, all we have to do is wait and see which is better or convenient for each of us, this or Note3 or HTC Max or Ultra Z… Oppo N1 just have to run stock Android and could be the best option! :D

        • MasterMuffin

It won’t, but they support devs so that AOSP ROMs should come fast. Also (if I remember correctly) they make official AOSP ROM available with their devices

the previous phone from oppo, the r819, let you choose from 3 different rom: oppo standard rom, oppo color rom and stock android. it would be awesome if this n1 allow us to choose the rom..

          • carlosfrancoz

            would be awesome!!

      • cvgordo

there’s no way it oculd be better if it doesn’t have the snapdragon 800 or american lte bands.

        • MasterMuffin

Well I’m not American and Snapdragon 600 has plenty of power for every regular user

Rumour has it that they are preparing a Sony-style lens attachment.

Oppo seems pretty much identical to Sony Mobile. Pro-developer(Both sponsored XDA DevCon), nice handsets with IDENTICAL SPECS. (Xperia Z and FInd 5)
