While the Oppo Find 7a (1080p screen) went on pre-order April 7th and has been available for a while now, the more powerful QHD model has yet to actually make its way to interested consumers across the globe. The good news is that this is about to change, as the Find 7 is now up for pre-order with the promise of shipping in early July.

The Oppo Find 7 can be pre-ordered in either Astro Black or White, and you have the choice of buying the U.S. model (better Tmo support) or the International version. Both models are priced at $599.

In addition to a QHD (2560 x 1440) 5.5-inch display, the Find 7 also has all-around slightly improved specs over the 7a, including a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU with an Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB RAM. There’s also 32GB storage, microSD, a 13MP rear cam, 5MP front cam, a 3000 mAh battery and Color OS (based on Android 4.3).

Good price for what it offers. Excellent display and great performance. While not as good as the OnePlus One in terms of price to performance, at least you will be able to buy this one. Well done Oppo on a solid phone at an okay price.

Pre-ordered! I’ve been wanting this phone since it was first introduced. Although I am very happy with my Moto X, I just needed to get this.

Nothing really wrong with the device except for Color Os, which should be getting a big upgrade from 1.X to 2.0 so that’s not a huge problem. Waiting for the video comparison between Find 7 and G3 :)

As soon as it gets a build of CM, I’m going to be really interested in this. I’d like to see a comparison between it and the G3 to really make up my mind.

Is the pre-order only available to US citizens? Living in Canada I tried to pre-order and was not able to, even though the site allowed me to create a profile

Just pre-ordered, hoping I don’t end up having to pay import duty it won’t be a bargain if I do.

    pre-order? huh?

I just walking into a store here in Bangkok and bought one today! No waiting list, no shortages, no hassles.

Waiting for the CM11 port for the device!

I had the 7a….good phone, not great! Color OS still needs work. I also had issues with their button layout on the bottom and a few other things, took a few days to get LTE on att to recognize it….I wasn’t the only one with this issue, the forums were flooded with complaints. The battery would drain fast, charge super fast, but a course only with their charger, and there was a lot of wasted space on the device. I was going to put a custom rom on it, but really never done it so I decided to return it.
Well its been a nightmare since!!! You can tell they have a handful of people working for them and now they can’t find my package and it says delivered (Thank god I insured it!). I am pretty livid with “oppo style” right now!!! The run around they are giving me is a joke!! I was considering this phone and actually doing a custom rom, still am if they find my phone or I get refunded one way or another. They need U.S. support or at the least U.K. support, not just Hong Kong. I have owned Oppo electronics in the past and they are great! Don’t get me wrong the 7a with my student discount was a good deal w/out contract, but the return issues I’m having from them is a joke! Yet, maybe it is my fault, who knows, I sent it to the address and also had the packaging slip put on they sent me, so I am lost on what the issue is.
The phone is still a solid device, just would put a custom rom on it next time. Looking forward though to see how this is with Color 2.0 and the G3 and OPO

still waiting to hear how much the G3 is on preorder. Why the hell can’t they announce price and release date when they do their demonstrations?

Does the Find 7 have the same retarded partition table as the Find 7a and 5? I.e. splitting the /data and /sdcard partitions so that you only have 3GB of space to install apps.
