The Oppo Find 7 is expected to be unveiled March 19th in Beijing, finally bringing us a direct successor to the Oppo Find 5. While we don’t know everything about the handset just yet, we have heard quite a few rumors about the device, including a recent claim that the handset will feature a 50MP camera.

Early on, official teasers also pointed at the handset featuring a QHD (2560×1440) display. Now Oppo has released yet another teaser, this time revealing there are in fact two versions of the Find 7. Similar to what early rumors claimed we’d see from the Galaxy S5, one model will have a 1080p resolution and the other will offer QHD (aka 2K).

Aside from different resolutions, we don’t officially know how the two models will differ. Turning to the rumor mill, the 1080p model will reportedly feature a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 MSM8974, with the QHD version packing a slightly more powerful 2.4GHz Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC.

What do you think, excited for the Oppo Find 7 based on what we currently know?

“one model will have a 1080p resolution and the other will offer QHD (aka 4K)” and above it you say that 1440p is QHD :D

All signs point to this being my new phone. I can’t wait!

This may turn out to be the best phone to come out in the first half of 2014. It will also have a 1080p varient for those that don’t want a higher resolution screen, so not much to complain about with this phone.

Aside from the QHD display discussion, this phone looks like one of the most promising of the year

don’t care for removable battery as I can always charge my phone while at work but the sdcard interest me greatly. I currently have a note 2

I like having choices. I want more 2k phones, but I personally don’t want a 2k phone. Too much battery consumption and lowers the frame rate, but this should be a new standard for mobile devices. Maybe when we have the Adreno 500, I will take a 2k screen.

and here I’m enjoying a 480p phone. Weird right? xD

        • Jayfeather787

          I have two 480p phones, I think I have another that is 360, and a 540p. My Nexus 7 2012 has a good 720p display (800), and my Nexus 7 2013 has a stunning 1080p display.

          • Tuấn Ankh

I have a 540p too, and today I’m using it, the Alcatel One Touch Fierce. I don’t currently own any 1080p device except for my desktop monitor (but I’m all in the the existence of 2k phones). xD
And yeah, the N7 2013 has a stunning display.

I wonder what the battery life will be on the QHD phone.

Well if the new HTC m8,or 2014One+ it will be 1 out of 3phones i am thinking of getting the other 2 are SsgGS5,and the SonyXperiaZ2,if the new flagship of LG G3,comes on the market before May,I might go for that, it all depends on what’s on the Irish market before may, as long as it’s an Android phone and its available and the cost?1 of the 4 phones I said I will be getting one!

    • tony solinan

I’ve been looking at videos of the oppoN1,here in Ireland if we got half of the phones that are on the US and UK and other Eurozone Country’s, if we got the same phones in shops that other country’s got I would be happy!
