Oppo sends out invites, the elements align for the Find 5 launch
Look what we just found in our mailbox.
Oppo, the up and coming smartphone manufacturer responsible for the Finder, “the world’s thinnest smartphone”, is back at it with another impressive device. The Oppo Find 5 is expected to arrive by the end of the year in China, and we’ve just received our invites for the December 12 in Beijing.
The Oppo Find 5 promises to be quite a beast. In addition to the full HD 5-inch SLCD display (the same display that equips the Droid DNA/HTC Butterfly), the smartphone features a powerful Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, with four cores clocked at 1.5GHz. The 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and 13MP camera complete the image of a best-in-class device.
We have some clues about the pricing and availability of the Oppo Find 5, in form of an early official webpage, but we’ll have to wait till December 12 to give you the full scoop. Pricing will be crucial for the Find 5 to succeed, but Oppo’s sleek device shapes out to be very exciting.
We’ll be in Beijing next week meeting with Oppo, and attending the launch event of the Find 5. We’ll keep you posted.
