We all take a bunch of photos, right? Some more than others, but imaging and photography is definitely an important part of the mobile experience. I still haven’t found the gallery that really fulfills all my needs.

If you are in the same boat as me and happen to have a OnePlus 2 running Oxygen OS, there is a new option around for you, and it comes straight from the Chinese startup.

OnePlus Gallery has just been launched. They tout is as a “no-nonsense app” that is “perfect for everyday browsing, editing and organizing”. Is all of this true? An answer to that question would require a full review, but we can certainly tell you the app looks pretty good so far.

For starters, OnePlus Gallery has no annoying ads, nor does it come with bells and whistles. It is simple and clean. And because it’s also optimized for offline usage, you won’t be needing a connection to use it. Of course, this could also mean it will lack the cloud solutions many of us have grown to love so much.

OnePlus also made this app with photo organization in mind. OnePlus Gallery generates collections based on the photo’s sources. And if you are not completely happy with a photo, you can also take advantage of the app’s basic editing tools (resizing, cropping, drawing, etc.).

Once again, OnePlus Gallery is available for OnePlus 2 users running Oxygen OS 2.2.1. We do have to wonder whether they will bring it to other devices in the future, but we wouldn’t hold our breath on that at this point.

Interested? Just head over to the Google Play Store and download the application. Then hit the comments and tell us what you think of it. We would also like to know which gallery app is your favorite, so sound off in the comments section. So far my favorite is Focus.
