Requirements

Here are the things that you will need for the installation.

• An HTC One X with an unlocked boadtloader
• Install ClockworkMod Recovery on your phone.
• Create a back up of all the important data (i.e. contacts, call logs, files, bookmarks and internet settings) because the installation involves wiping your phone’s data.
  • You can read our guide on how to locally backup your data or our guide on how to backup your data to  the cloud.
• Make sure that you have enough battery power to avoid installation interruption due to power loss.
• Install the Android SDK (with platform-tools package) on your computer, or download one of the following and extract the files to a folder on your PC:
  • adb-fastboot-linux.rar (6.4 MB) — For Linux
  • adb-fastboot-win.rar (6.6 MB) — For Windows
• Download LeeDrOid_One_Xtreme_V3.0.0.zip (MD5: 79ae1544b657c910c9a42deb1a2fe5b6) to your computer.
• Download the boot.img file (MD5: b24601af5930d95a44917fb4bf91dcd7) to your computer.

Requirements

If you are done with and have all the requirements, here are the instructions on installing the LeeDroid One Xtreme ROM on your HTC One X.

1. Copy LeeDrOid_One_Xtreme_V3.0.0.zip to the root of the SD card on your One X.
2. Copy boot.img to the same folder where adb or adb.exe is located.
3. Turn off your One X.
4. Boot your phone into ClockworkMod Recovery. To do this boot into Bootloader Mode by holding down the Volume Down key, then press the Power button. Look for “Recovery” (navigate using the Volume keys) then select it by pressing the Power button to enter Recovery Mode.  When you see the red warning triangle, press Volume Up and Power simultaneously to see the recovery menu.
5. Create a Nandroid backup of your current ROM. Select Backup and Restore> Backup.
6. Go back to the main recovery menu and flash the ROM. Select Install zip from sdcard > Choose zip from sdcard and choose LeeDrOid_One_Xtreme_V3.0.0.zip and confirm the installation.
7. Boot into Bootloader Mode just as you did above then select “Fastboot”.
8. Open a command prompt or terminal on your computer.  (If you’re on Windows, double-click on commandprompt.bat inside the folder were you extracted the ADB and Fastboot files to.)
9. Enter the following commands:
   • fastboot flash boot boot.img
   • fastboot erase cache
   • fastboot reboot
10. Your phone will reboot and you will have your new and improved Ice Cream Sandwich for your HTC One X.

Congratulations! You’ve just flashed the LeeDroid One Xtreme 3.0.0 custom ROM to your HTC One X.
