If you could just put down your Tegra 3-powered Nexus 7 and stop playing for just a second, we have some news to share about TegraZone that has just been informed to us by the folks over at NVIDIA.

After passing the 5 million downloads milestone back in mid-September, it seems Android gamers have been lapping up the app at an even faster rate, as it now clocks an impressive 6 million downloads worldwide. That’s an extra million in about 2.5 months. Well done!

For those who aren’t too familiar with NVIDIA’s TegraZone, it’s basically a portal for all Tegra-enhanced games that are available out there in the gaming universe. Getting the TegraZone app from Google Play, however, is an easier way to discover the hottest and latest games from NVIDIA. After all, it’d be a shame not to put the graphics muscle on those dual-core and quad-core Tegra devices to good gaming use.

Check out the TegraZone app and/or the portal if you haven’t already done so.
