The Galaxy Note 3 just became available in stores from around the world, which means it’s time for Samsung to kick off the next phase of its marketing onslaught.
The first commercial for the Note 3+Galaxy Gear combo had a catchy soundtrack and bizarre dancing marionettes, but this second spot may be even stranger. Check it out for yourself.
Samsung says that the ad, which is titled “The Developer”, is a “dramatic retelling of actual projects” of Argentinian football star Lionel Messi’s charity work. In case you’re wondering, the soundtrack for this “musical short film” is a rendition of hit single “Royals” by Lorde.
What do you think of this new ad? Does it make you crave a Note 3?

This commercial is dramatic as hell. but, oddly enough, I love it.
how does this ad make any sense? Some kids singing, building getting destroyed and a wild Messi appears?(??) And 0:46 oh no his favourite pink bambi!
1:46 dat face!!!
Now that’s just cheeky from Samsung, advertising their most expensive mobile with the most expensive athlete-for-hire about…
And worst of all, it’s awesome! :)
I didn’t crave a Note 3. But I did go and buy Royals from the Play Store.
I give this commercial a massive THUMBS UP, its catchy and entertaining. It’s so good that it makes me want to buy a Note 3.. that is ofcourse if I didn’t have one already :)
I bet the song Royals gets a spike in sales now.
Lol for the title
Beyond lame..and and cheesy as all hell
