Android is sad

Things are not looking as good for Android at the Mobile World Congress event as I had anticipated.  I’m sitting at the HTC press event at the moment and have been informed that it has no new Android devices to show today.

My friend Sacha Segan from PC Mag spoke with a Huawei rep this morning before the HTC event and was told that Huawei also would not be showing any Android devices.  I want to speak with them myself to confirm that, but it’s not looking good so far.

    HTC magic was announced today.
    Nvidia is showing something.
Definately go by the Texas Instruments booth. There is a small form facor phone from Innocom (I think) running Android on QVGA display.
TI’s new Zoom-II dev kit for OMAP3 shows a blazing fast Android with wlan, camera, 3G, wvga, accelerated a/v.
