Nival
When it comes to mobile gaming, there is no bigger news than when a console or PC gaming company starts taking the mobile platform seriously. Previously, Square Enix showed some interest by releasing RPG classics like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV. Now, game developers Nival is showing some interest by bringing an old classic to the mobile platform.

The game is called King's Bounty: Legions and it's based on a Commodore 64 game of the same name. It brings a turn-based strategy style that is reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics or other checkerboard, turn-based games. Players move their characters across checkerboard style maps and attack the enemy. There is a decent sized campaign mode that'll keep players engaged.

Perhaps its best feature is its multiplayer modes. Players can take on anyone and everyone worldwide. It is integrated with iOS, Facebook, and Android but gamers can play against anyone from any platform. That means people on Android can take on people on iOS. It also means people can form guilds, discuss strategies, and participate in tournament.

Is Nival’s King’s Bounty: Legions worth playing?

It's free, so of course it's worth taking a shot to try out. It's currently available in the Google Play Store and will soon also be available for iOS. Of course, if checkerboard-style, turn-based games aren't your thing, then you may not enjoy it. Also, attached below is a video preview for Nival's game that will show you more on how the game play works.

With the decent graphics, a legacy namesake, and cross-platform battling, Nival could have a home run here. Plus, who doesn't like to build an army of soldiers to do your bidding? If this game looks up your alley, check out the Google Play Store links above and below. Also, check out the video! Is anyone going to be picking this game up?
