Miitomo was a surprise hit globally, with over a million installs in Japan in its first three days and over four million a few weeks later. It launched in the U.S. and other countries at the end of March and is reportedly earning Nintendo more than a million dollars a month.

For the uninitiated, Miitomo is a simple avatar-based “game” where you create a digital likeness, answer questions and have your responses shared with your friends. It’s meant to be a fun way to learn unexpected things about one another. There’s some in-app purchase action for buying funky clothing and a mini-game to lighten the Miinterrogation.
