Nexus 5 owners looking for official accessories for the new Google handset should know that Google has already listed three of them in the Play Store including the Nexus Wireless Charger, the LG QuickCover for Nexus 5 and the Nexus 5 Bumper Case.
The Nexus Wireless Charger (pictured below) retails for $49.99 and ships in 1-2 business days. In addition to working with the new Nexus smartphone, the device is also compatible with the Nexus 7 (2013) and the Nexus 4.
The QuickCover is available in either black or white and costs $49.99. The unibody case also ships in 1-2 business days.
Finally, the Bumper Case is the cheapest accessory for the handset, as it’s priced at $34.99. The Bumper Case is available in four colors including Black, Gray Bright Red and Bright Yellow, but only the last two options can be purchase right away – they will also ship in 1-2 business days. What official Nexus 5 accessories are you buying?

The only two colors people actually want are the only ones not available. Trying to get potential bumper buyers to buy the flip cover. SMH…..
none! For the same price of the wireless charger, you can find ones that charge two phones at the same time. The bumper is waaaay toooo costly and so is the quick cover :)
Waaaayyyy to pricey, but I suppose they need to make money out of this somewhere
The wireless charger is kinda cool but wow $50 compared to a $2 MicroUSB cord.
Official accessories are always expensive. I equipped my Note 3 with a wireless charger and receiver pad for $20 shipped from ebay. Since the nexus 5 and nexus 7 already have the receiver built into the device, all you need is a the charger which is around $18 for a generic charger on ebay. At this price, I actually got 3 chargers. 1 at work, 1 by the bed, and 1 on my desk at home. Better yet, the chargers are governed by the QI standard which means it’ll work with any QI enabled device. I charge my note 3 and nexus 7 with the same charger.
I didn’t realize USB cords were wireless, not exactly apples to apples there. Wireless charging has been a minor revelation in our house, no more cords dangling around the bed to make the room look untidy and no fumbling in the dark to get the phone plugged in and scuffing it up around teh port int he process. You should try it. You can get the Nokia DT-900 plate for about $25 on ebay (new even) if the Nexus charger is too much for you.
In my location only the grey bumper case is available plus both colors of the LG case and all 3 colors of Nexus 7 sleeve.
The charger is a “coming soon” listing.
Can I get a 3000mah battery expansion pack with that?
How about offering a battery upgrade ? Or a case with an extra battery? Now that I would buy.
