Ever since its release the Nexus 4 has been difficult to buy. It takes less than a day for this phone to go from ‘available' to ‘backordered'. Right now, the Nexus 4 is not available for purchase in the US from the official outlets that have been selling it. Recently the 16GB variant of the phone sold out in the US, following the 8GB variant that sold out two weeks ago.

Even those who managed to buy the device were told to wait up to 10 weeks before their device could be delivered to their doorstep, which is a tough pill to swallow considering that means waiting for a phone to get delivered for over 2 months. However those who were hoping to get a Nexus 4 this Christmas might be in luck, as the marketing materials received by many T-Mobile stores suggest that the phone may get available for purchase in the coming days.

TMO News reports that it has heard from its sources that the locations which are now receiving these marketing materials are the ones that didn't carry the device when it was released initially. That means not only the T-Mobile stores are getting the new batch of Nexus 4 but also the carrier is expanding the list of its stores that will be selling Nexus 4 in the coming weeks.

Let's hope that Nexus 4 comes back to T-Mobile stores and also becomes available via the Play Store in time for Christmas.
