Nexus 4 available on Amazon, expect premium prices and limited stock

While Google has run out of 8GB and 16GB Nexus 4 units in various markets, there are other retailers that have the device in stock. One of them seems to be Amazon, where both Nexus 4 versions are currently available, with a twist.

Don’t expect huge quantities to go around and don’t be surprised to have to pay a premium price for the handset, no matter what version you choose. The 8GB version sells for $549.99 while the 16GB version will cost you $649.99.

It’s also worth pointing out that Amazon is not selling the handset via its Amazon Wireless division, so you’ll have to head on to Amazon.com, where the Nexus 4 is available for purchase from other resellers using Amazon as a way to deliver their products.

Similarly, in addition to the Nexus 4, the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets are also available from Amazon.

In case you haven’t been able to buy your Nexus 4 yet and you desperately want one by Christmas, where will you buy your unit from? How much would you be willing to pay?

Thanks, Tim!

Buying an overpriced google nexus 4 basically ruins the whole idea of why you would want to buy a google nexus 4 at first place which is its cheap price.

Just be patient and wait a bit. There would be plenty very soon. Google is borrowing a page from Apple iPhone hype book.
