With more than 250 million users, Google Plus is steadily gaining acceptance in all walks of life. We’re not the only one on the block that love to Hangout, one of the social network’s main attractions, but the likes of Huffington Post have also integrated the live video streaming feature in their new Live service. Furthermore, to keep things fresh, Google has recently updated Google Plus.
The new version of Google Plus now opens the door for tweeners to join Hangout sessions. While teenagers have been allowed to create Google+ accounts for a few months now, it’s only now that the age restriction for Hangouts is reduced to 13 years and over. We can just imagine the ensuing video streaming sessions will have a lot of JB references. Not Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, obviously, but Justin Bieber more like.
Anyway, here’s the full change log:
You should already be getting the update notification on your Android device to bring the Google Plus app to its latest version. Otherwise, you can always open Google Play to download the 13.98MB file.
