Financial data services company Bloomberg LP has recently launched a tablet-optimized version of its original Bloomberg app for Android. Simply named Bloomberg for Tablet, the app carries the same functionalities as the earlier Bloomberg app targeted at Android smartphones.

The app places Bloomberg tools right at your fingertips, thus making it sweat-free for you to stay up-to-date on business and financial news, market data, and stock and portfolio updates. All the business, market, and financial insights that you need to know in order to guide decision-making are presented in visually appealing and easy graphs and charts.

Take note that the Bloomberg for Tablet app is, er, for tablets running Android 2.1 Eclair or higher. Several users have complained that the app doesn’t work on their Android phones. If such is the case for you, please read the first sentence of this paragraph over and over until it dawns upon your mind that the Bloomberg for Tablet app for Android is for tablets. For Android phones, try the original Bloomberg app.
