Despite Google’s recent announcement of its Chrome OS, MID manufactures seem to be unfazed, as they continue to develop MIDs running the Android OS.
The Eston MID-02 slider will have a 4.3 inch resistive touchscreen with the ability to boot into both Windows CE 6.0 and Android.
The M! PC Pocket device will run Android and will be offered on the French carrier SFR. It will be a rebadged version of the Compal P8860. It will feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an Intel Atom Z500 processor at 800MHz, 512MB of RAM, and it will have a 4GB solid state drive (SSD). The 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen will control navigation on the device.
While this is not an official announcement for either device, only the Eston MID-02 slider can only be purchased in bulk at this time.
