According to Google’s Andy Rubin, the godfather of the Android smartphone OS, Android is going to start picking up features needed to tackle business uses – starting this year. To quote a Reuters story on…

NEC has unveiled two new 10.1-inch Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich tablets today, one for business and one for personal use, but both part of the LifeTouch L line.
The LifeTouch L for individuals will be launched on July 5, while the business model will be available in stores in late July. Pricing details for the two LifeTouch L versions have not been mentioned at this time, but we do have more details regarding their specs and features for you.
There aren't that many differences when it comes to hardware. In fact the two LifeTouch L lines are almost similar but for the memory capacity. The NEC LifeTouch L for individuals will come in two versions, 16GB and 32GB while the business model will only offer 16GB of storage.

In addition to offering support for apps and pretty much all the features that can be enjoyed on the personal model, the business model comes with security features meant to help users protect their data and corporate network connectivity, as well as features that will help them prevent and/or deal with theft, loss, and unauthorized use.
