Looking for a near-console quality basketball gaming experience? 2K Games’ NBA 2K13 has now arrived on Android. The newest version of the popular game series includes several improvements to the graphics and control mechanics. One of these changes is the new one-finger control option. For those who prefer the traditional controls, don’t worry. The original control scheme is there as well.

NBA 2K13 is a major advancement in the series and has plenty to offer for fans of the NBA. In NBA 2K13, players can go through multiple NBA seasons with the same team, helping to establish their legacy. The game also presents itself in a way similar to an actual televised game. Your play session even includes a full commentary. Other changes includes the a full roster that reflects all 2011-2012 season updates. If you want to relive some of the NBA’s best moments, you’ll love this game, as it includes Kobe Bryant’s historic 81-point performance in 2006.

For those who don’t like to spend much on an app, the price might be a little steep for you. NBA 2K13 carries a $7.99 price tag. That being said, you will be hard pressed to find an Android basketball game with better graphics and gameplay.

A word of caution: make sure you have plenty of room on your phone or tablet. NBA 2K13 takes up a little over 600MB after installation, making it a pretty hefty-sized game file. Hit the Google Play link below for more information on the latest addition to the 2K series.
