Mozilla is now offering a new alpha release of its Firefox Mobile browser, code named Fennec. Fennec for Android users requires devices to be running Android 2.0 or newer and have at least 30MB of internal storage. For interested parties, download Mozilla’s Fennec alpha mobile browser at Firefox.com/m/alpha on your Android device.
Users beware, as this is an alpha build, expect bugs to present.

30MB internal storage!!!
I won’t be installing it on my Legend then.
Need 2.2 NOW!
doesn’t even open in Htc Legend 2.1… fail
Dolphin Browser HD for Android is SOOOOO much better. They’ve had their product out for a long time now and have LOTS of plug-ins for it too. I also like that I can go to the settings and set the “user agent” to “desktop”. No more having to fight the browser to see the desktop version of Facebook. Just a personal preference, but I don’t necessarily like browsing “mobile” sites. But there again… Dolphin wins out. They have a Desktop Toggle add-on that allows you to switch back and forth between the “mobile” and “desktop” user agent settings.
AND… it doesn’t take up 30MB of internal storage!!!
Is there one available for non-android phones? I have an Lg Gossip.
Firefox is very distinctive.
