Motorola Sholes
Another nice piece of rumorific news today is that what a Russian website is calling the Motorola Sholes, a new high-end Android powered handset that appears to be headed for Verizon.
According to the site, the Sholes features a large 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a whopping 480 x 854 pixel resolution. They also claim it has a half-Gig of internal storage and supports 16GB microSD cards, comes with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, and has a 3.5mm headphone port. GPS and a decent 1400mAh battery are also on-board, according to the site.
The claimed dimensions of 60mm x 115.8mm x 13.7mm (2.4in x 4.6in x .5in) and 169g (6.0oz) are pretty hefty, though.
The claim is for an October launch date. Gallery after the jump.
