It has been rumored and spied and even had its name changed, but the long rumored Motorola BACKFLIP is now official. As expected, the BACKFILP is a reverse QWERTY flip phone and will feature: UMTS…
A hot thread over at Howard Forums has revealed that the Motorola Shadow is running Android 2.1. Furthermore, the Shadow is said to outperform the Samsung Galaxy S, which is no mean feat. According to bill23, a Howard Forum Shadow evangelist, “Its not on froyo.” Enough said. When asked how the Motorola Blur is integrated into the Shadow, bill23 had the following to say;
I move silent like a “Ninja” and strike in a” Blur” of speed.
Ninja Blur is Blur running without the user knowing. For those who don’t like Blur.
The literal translation of this rather cryptic comment is that Blur can be hidden for those that don’t want it. However, it is still in the background, just like a Ninja. Indeed, why it cannot be turned off altogether is a question for someone with more knowledge than bill23 himself.
