The highly coveted Motorola RAZR has now invaded Canada. The very sexy Android smartphone is now available through Rogers. Dubbed as one of the thinnest smartphones in the world, this device first came into the limelight through Verizon as the Motorola DROID RAZR.

The device is now available for pre-order at Rogers’ website. Rogers also has an on-going promotion where you can join a raffle that could win you a Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. This amazing deal will end this November 15.

The Motorola RAZR can now be yours for CA$149.99 on a three-year plan subscription. If you’re not fond of being tied up to a long-term contract, you can get this sleek Android smartphone for CA$649.99. The device is within the price range of the HTC Raider 4G and the iPhone 4s when these come out on Rogers.

Getting the Motorola RAZR through Rogers will give users tons of features and specs to bask in. The 4G network that this wireless carrier has will get you up to 14.4 Mbps of pure Internet speed. This will be coupled with the 1.2 GHz dual-core processor built under that super thin chassis.

The RAZR also has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen with qHD resolution. Motorola is also bragging about the strong KEVLAR fiber cover at the back of the device and the ever-dependable Corning Gorilla glass at the front.

For connectivity, this device comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It also comes with a front-facing camera and a back-facing camera (8 megapixels) capable of recording 1080p HD videos. The smartphone comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, and Motorola had promised to provide an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon.

If you are looking for a fashionable smartphone that can make heads turn around, the Motorola RAZR will certainly fit that requirement.  Is this your next Android phone?  If not, what is?
