Last week we reported that Motorola had officially approved build 98.12.4 for the Motorola Droid RAZR M, which would bring Jelly Bean to the handset. At the time, soak tests had already begun. Now reports…
The Motorola Razr i made waves when it was first announced at a launch event last year, being of the first mainstream Android devices to boast an Intel Medfield processor, clocked at an impressive 2GHz Released with Android 4.0 ICS on-board, an obvious concern at that point was whether an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be possible, and, if yes, when. The answer to both those questions, which Motorola answered last month, is YES and NOW, respectively.
That's right! Motorola announced in a blog post the rollout of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Motorola Razr i. The rollout will be conducted in phases, with some users in France and the UK already reporting receipt of the OTA notification. The Jelly Bean update will boast a slew of new features and improvements, including Google Now, Voice Search, and improved notifications. You can check out the detailed list of enhancements here.
