Electronista is reporting that Motorola VP Christy Wyatt has left her seat on the board of directors of the LiMo Foundation and that Motorola has scaled back its participation in the mobile Linux group to that of an associate member from its former status as a founding member.
When asked about the move, the company said the following in a statement:
“At this time it feels that the Android platform gives it a richer, more consistent foundation with strong support for the ecosystem and developer community.”
