Over the last few months we’ve seen quite a few Motorola apps make the move to Google Play including Motorola Connect, Motorola Assist and Motorola Touchless Control. This is great because it makes it easier to update individual Motorola programs without having to issue system updates. With that in mind, Motorola Gallery is now following in the same footsteps.

Earlier today, Motorola Gallery officially debuted on Google Play sporting a new look that includes a lighter color palette and a slide-out navigation panel that replaces the previous dropdown list. The change-log also mentions that the app now features larger thumbnails.

Now it’s important to remember that just because the app can be found in Google Play doesn’t mean it is compatible with just any device. To grab the app update you’ll need a Moto X, Moto G or a newer Motorola Droid handset. To grab the update, you’ll want to head on over to Google Play.
