The Motorola Droid RAZR HD was released with Verizon Wireless last month. The handset came along with the Droid RAZR MAXX HD and while we haven’t heard all that much in the time since release, it looks like an issue has popped up. The issue is dealing with the display, and it is one that you will likely not want to see. But on the positive side, the issue does not appear to be all that widespread at the moment. Nonetheless, this is one that we suggest keeping an eye on.
Anyway, without any further adieu, the issue is dealing with the display. Specifically, a pretty severe discoloration of the display. You can get an idea of what it looks like in the above image. Basically, it seems to discolor to the point of almost not being able to see anything on the display.
If you are sporting a Droid RAZR HD and have had this issue, we would love to hear from you. We would also suggest contacting Verizon Wireless and seeing what they have to say. If you have seen this issue, we can only hope that Verizon will warranty the handset out and give you another.
The good news at this point, aside from this image and a few replies on Twitter, we have not been able to find many complaints. Perhaps even better, the issue seems to go away with a simple reboot, which would suggest an issue with software as opposed to with the display. Of course, having spent all that money on a new smartphone, any issue, even small, would be a big problem.
Bottom line here, this is probably nothing to worry about just yet. But we do suggest that Droid RAZR HD users be on the lookout.

No, it happens to mine running ICS though all you have to do is lock it and unlock it for me, so I don’t care much.
Mine is the same. A quick lock and unlock, and it’s fixed.
