There’s no stopping the Motorola DROID Bionic from coming out now. Earlier rumored for unleashing on Verizon Wireless this coming September 8, the Motorola DROID Bionic is not coming out alone. It’s coming out together with accessories that extend its basic functionality.

According to a report on The Droid Guy, one important accessory for the DROID Bionic has started reaching Verizon’s corporate stores–the Motorola Lapdock.

The name of the accessory is a clue to its function. The Motorola Lapdock is a docking unit that enables laptop- or netbook-like features and functionality on the DROID Bionic. It includes a bigger screen display and a keyboard. It also has its own battery, which practically extends the life of the DROID Bionic’s own battery.

The Motorola Atrix 4G was the first Motorola device to use a similar docking station.

Other accessories that The Droid Guy caught sight of are the adapter for the webtop application, a shell/holster combo with kickstand, and the Motorola HD Station (a docking unit).

No prices for the accessories have been disclosed as of yet.

The Droid Guy also noted that Verizon’s official training for the Motorola DROID Bionic sales personnel will wrap up this Thursday, September 1. This is another strong suggestion that the Motorola DROID Bionic may be arriving in Verizon stores as early as September 1.

With Motorola DROID Bionic accessories already sighted in Verizon stores, there’s little doubt left about the DROID Bionic’s rumored September 8 release date.

Which of these accessories will you be buying along with your shiny new Motorola DROID Bionic?
