A new report says that Verizon may release in the future a Motorola handset similar to the XT1058 (rumored AT&T XFON), suggesting that a CDMA Google X Phone may be launched alongside a GSM version…
Motorola has announced that it will continue to provide Jelly Bean updates in the first quarter of 2013. The company has updated its “Software Upgrade New” page with new info that will be of very much interest for Motorola device owners.
On the upgrade page Motorola has added new devices that will receive the Jelly Bean update in the following months. These devices include the Electrify M XT901 (U.S. Cellular), Canadian RAZR HD XT925, Australian RAZR M, and European RAZR i XT890. The specific release dates haven't been revealed, so we will have to wait for that info to become available.
The company has recently released Android 4.1 for the Atrix HD and rolled out Jelly Bean for its RAZR M and RAZR HD smartphones in November. The RAZR MAXX and DROID RAZR also received updates in December.
While it is nice to see new devices getting added on the software upgrade list, it is somewhat disappointing that Motorola has added only four devices. We hope that more devices will be added in the coming months including the PHOTON Q, Droid 4, Droid Bionic and several others.
