CLIQ updateMy Motorola CLIQ received its update last night and I have shot a few photos of the process and the new Battery Manager features that it brings to the table.  You can think of the Battery Manager as a profiles system for battery use.  It could still use some additional features, but it is a good start and something that all phones should feature.

I haven’t had much time to test the changes so far (I’m flying back to Philadelphia tonight), but I can already see an improved response from the touchscreen display.  Moto also claims improved battery life when the device is sitting idle as well as when apps are running, and Bluetooth and a number of other features have been tweaked.  The full changelist is here.

Touch input really is much improved… Makes the UI work a lot better.

Guy above me doesnt get it.

I agree with Pete. Shawn doesn’t get it. Flash player is not a feature, it’s a crutch. Flash player is a buggy, piece of crap and there is no need for it on a mobile platform. As for Flash in desktop browsers, I will be glad when Google fixes the YouTube website so that it works with HTML 4 and no longer requires the Flash player plug-in. I hope other websites follow suit.

you guys better be trolling, flash is a requirement these days. even if it’s for watching animations, otherwise the platform would have been dissapered long time ago.

Will this update fix the firmware problem with text messages? If not I will have to get a new phone because of someone elses problem. TMobile can not do anything about the text message problem until the update comes out, that may work or not!
