According to Boy Genius Report, Motorola will be releasing their first Android phone with Verizon, called the Calgary. This would confirm the statement made by Sanjay Jha, Motorola’s CEO, back in February, claiming that Morotola would be releasing at least one Android based device this year.
The Calgary would appear to offer the same style ‘chemically etched keypad’ found on the RAZR line, but this time in a slideout QWERTY formation. We can’t say anything more at this point, but we thought we’d pass on the good news, should it come to fruition.
