The Motorola Bravo, while not one of the most current handsets, still delivers an experience to cheer about. Just recently, Motorola provided a software upgrade for your Bravo that will bring you some soft served Froyo goodness. Sure, it’s no Gingerbread, but it’s still a marked improvement.

The recent Bravo update 37.4.0 will take along some of the typical Froyo specs, however Motorola also have some add-ons that is only good for your Bravo. Interesting, isn’t it? Here are some of the add-ons:

  • Profiles – the profile features gives you three sets of homescreen that you can customize and will allow you to access apps, shortcuts and widgets whenever you need them.
  • Dialer search – the numbers that is already registered in your phonebook can now be searched using the dialer screen. You just have to key in the first few letters or numbers of your contact.
  • LinkedIn – you can now add LinkedIn social network accounts so you can integrate contacts, updates as well as messaging.
  • Security – the new security feature includes Exchange-based encryption and password security.

The question now remains – How can you install the upgrade? Here’s how:

It is recommended that the battery of your phone is at least 50% full while installing the updates so you can have a successful installation. Also, you have to make sure that your Bravo has an active SIM card in it.
