A new spot in Lazy Phone ad campaign for the Moto X highlights the customization options that Motorola offers through Moto Maker.

Moto X _Lazy Phone_ ad -- Moto Maker -

The best phone out there is nothing without some serious marketing muscle behind it, and luckily for Motorola, parent company Google has the deep pockets required to finance a great ad campaign for the Moto X.

Personally, I loved the first commercials in the Lazy Phone campaign – they are fun, relatable, and unique enough to be memorable. Other Android manufacturers should watch and learn (HTC, LG, I am looking at you).

With that said, the following spot is still fun, but maybe not as good as the other ones at conveying a clear message about the Moto X.

What do you think?

I absolutely love the “Lazy Phone” ads.
    They’re genius!

      Shame the phone isn’t.

      • Colin

I just got the phone at it’s exactly what the commercials are portraying. Seriously a great phone, with useful technology and no lame gimmicks like eye tracking or “Simple Mode” It’s the best out of the box Android experience out there period! And forget about the specs, just put the phone in your hand, play some games and you’ll see just how great this phone really is. (the camera could use some work…hoping for a firmware update with 4.3 though)

It’s a mid range phone selling for 630$.

          • Colin

Everyone keeps saying that, but I have yet to see anyone try to compare it to a mid-range phone, only against top-tier phones. And oddly (even though it’s “mid-range”) it easily keeps up with those phones, and at times surpasses them. Specs are dead, it’s about optimizing hardware with software, and that exactly what the X does. Even the camera, it’s made for a quick shot, and then upload it to G+…boom! Nice photos!

          • Luka Mlinar

Sony xperia SP. Almost the same phone.
I’m not saying it’s a bad phone. I’m just saying it’s overpriced as hell. Why do i need to pay the same price as i do for the phone that has twice the specs.

          • Anup

It’s a mid range phone that is much better than the high end phones out there.

          • Luka Mlinar

Not really. OPPO kick ass with it’s custom ROM support. If you put a custom ROM on this thing it turns into the most expensive dual core phone ever made.

Have you used this phone or are you just talking out your ass?

          • Luka Mlinar

Has anyone? Not even Bugatti has such limited production as the Moto X.

          • T.J.

Then I guess you can’t compare two phones if you haven’t used one of them.
By the way, a lot of people have used them and they’re saying it equals our beats the other flagships.
