Another piece of the Moto X puzzle seems to have been leaked, as a video showing phone’s boot animation has been posted online.
Android Police recorded a short video of a Moto X units while booting up, capturing the boot sequence in the process. As you can see in the video below, the Moto X boot animation is anything but boring – of course, assuming this is the real deal.
Considering the rather large number of Moto X leaks and rumors we’ve seen in the past few weeks, we’re inclined to think this is indeed the boot animation of the handset, although we’ll only be able to confirm it once the handset launches.
From what you can see in the following clip, you’ll notice that Motorola is focusing in the animation on its logo but also on different places in this round world of ours – or is Motorola subliminally pointing to some U.S. regions in order to further remind buyers that the handset will be made in the U.S.?
The Moto X event will take place on August 1, although we’re certain we’ll see more leaks in week leading up to it.

That’s probably the coolest animation ever, but does it have to run completely for the phone to boot?
nope, boot animations only run until the phone is ready.
I think there is a way to script to run completely before allowing access to the phone.
I like the boot animation. Kinda disappointed when the lockscreen showed up…
very googley. i love it.
And then it crashed.
That boot animation keeps you pretty entertained until it turns on :p
