Moto X camera update now rolling out to AT&T

by: Andrew GrushOctober 4, 2013

Last week T-Mobile and Sprint starting rolling out a new Moto X update that brought with it substantial improvements to the device’s camera. At the time we noted that AT&T probably wouldn’t be too far behind with their own update, and now the time has come!

As with the  T-Mobile and Sprint Moto X update, the primary focus here is with the camera. After updating you will find improved exposure for backlit/outdoor scenes, better color accuracy, enhanced auto-white balance performance and reduced noise for low-light scenes. The update is also said to provide faster touch to focus time and speedier switching between front-facing and rear cameras.

Outside of the camera enhancements, the new update also brings enhanced Touchless control accuracy, improved voice quality and a few minor bug fixes.

For more details about the update, you’ll want to head over to AT&T’s official blog. So how about it, did you manage to snag the update yet? If so – what do you think of the camera improvements?

Hmm after the officiel annoucement of the HTC One (ATT) 4.3 update (certification ready and update is rolling as soon as the beginning of next week) the Moto X getting it camera fix update, not shabby the US carriers starting to move their asses a bit

  • Last week it was T-Mobile & Sprint. Unlike what you have mentioned in your blog post two times as Last week’s AT&T update

Where’s Verizon’s update? Dead last like usual.

I hate to hear that UPDATE. Why do they don’t improve their devices function before go public? I wouldn’t say anything else like to fix the bugs. Can someone please tell me why?

I would better know how many of them have been sold so far… 4 or 5?
