Moto Maker to come to Verizon (other carriers?) on November 11

One of the most appealing things about the Moto X is Moto Maker, the customization program that lets you choose the colors of the device and a few other features to make the phone truly yours.

Currently, Moto Maker is only available to AT&T customers — users on other carriers have to do with the two basic options, black and white. However, that might change next month, according to @evleaks:

There you have it. Big Red customers, you now know when you may order that lime-green-with-pink-accents Moto X you’ve been dreaming of for so long. Just remember that, while @evleaks is a relatively credible source, the information is still unofficial and probably subjected to change.

With that said, back in August we heard that Moto Maker will open to all carriers, not only Verizon, in November. It may be that Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular customers will get to customize their Moto X in time for Black Friday. Don’t hold your breath on that for now, because it’s just a rumor.

Might help its sales. Who wants to pay full fare for a limited ride? If The Nexus 5 hits on all carriers, LG G2, Note 3, and maybe a Sony device, first, Moto will get lost in the mix.

Except Verizon ruined the G2 by changing it for the sake of being different and the Note 3 is a different market.
Sony might have a chance but they’ve kind of fallen under the radar as of late. I know more people with Windows phones than I do Sony phones.

Hopefully it will coincide with a $100 price drop. $99 on contract or around 500 outright sounds about right. Add maybe wood back, and 32GB (64 option where are you) .
