You might find yourself wanting to capture the moment on your Moto G, perhaps a special text message, a picture or a web page. No matter the reason, we are going to present you the easy instructions on how to take a screenshot with your Moto G. The Moto G screenshot method follows the Android standard which is holding the power button down and the volume down button at the same time for 3 seconds. This is the most common method on Android as other devices such as the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, Note 3 and Nexus 7 all use the same screenshot method.

    Instructions:

    1. Hold down the power button and Volume down button at the exact same time for 3 seconds (You may have to try it a few times to get the timing right)
    2. Wait until you hear a camera snapping sound and you’ll see the screen being captured on your phone.
    3. Go to the Gallery app, then go to Albums to find the screenshots folder. In that folder you will see all the screenshots that you took.

PRO TIP: I recommend using both your hands when taking the screenshot as it’s a bit awkward since the power button and volume buttons are located on the same side of the phone.
