Moto E4 Plus sales cross 100,000 units on launch day in India

Flipkart sold more than 100,000 units of the Moto E4 Plus on launch day and 580 units per minute during the first hour of its availability.

Lenovo launched the Moto E4 Plus in India last week and, based on the first sales numbers, the Flipkart exclusive device is proving popular among consumers. The retailer sold more than 100,000 E4 Plus units in the first 24 hours alone. Flipkart also claims that it sold 580 units per minute in the first hour of the device’s availability, with 150,000 people visiting the sales page during that time.

One of the standout features of the Moto E4 Plus is its extra large battery which features a 5,000 mAh capacity. The smartphone also sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by the MediaTek MT6737 chipset. It has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, which you can expand up to an additional 128 GB with the aid of a microSD card.

The Moto E4 Plus features a 13 MP primary camera with LED flash and an f/2.0 aperture as well as a 5 MP selfie snapper. A metal body and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner round off its key features, and it comes running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
