Unless you’ve been living under a rock for quite some time now, you’ve probably noticed that the Android app for Google Search has received an update recently. The update is for Android 2.2 or 2.3 users. Once you update the app, you will see these results:

  • Enhancement on UI and performance
  • Simplified and a new color scheme for UI
  • Faster, more responsive searches
  • Better localized suggestions and search results for more countries
  • Improved suggestions and query editing
  • Easy way to remove history items (long press)

With the update, you can simply tap the little arrow located on the right of a search suggestion so you can add it to your search keywords before looking it up. This will make the whole process faster. Moreover, every country with its own Google domain now leads to more country-specific suggestions.

If you already have the update on your device, how has the improvements been helping you?
