For those Android users that use Microsoft’s Outlook email service, you’ll be pleased to hear that the app now has a dedicated Android Wear counterpart. Outlook for Android Wear will allow you to reply with pre-set messages or dictate a response with voice and you’ll also be able to scroll in the notification window to reveal more email content.

It’s great to see the company embracing Android Wear as a platform and providing users with choice over the standard Gmail option rather than forcing those who choose Outlook as their preferred email client to take their phone out to see notifications.

This week, we’re bringing the best of Outlook to Android Wear. Stop reaching out for your phone, everything is now happening on your watch. Check your Outlook notifications, read your new emails and reply with pre-set messages or voice dictation right from your wrist. It’s never been that easy to manage your inbox.

The update is currently rolling out to the Google Play Store so be sure to check if the update is showing for you as it’ll be rolling out gradually over the next few days to various regions. Do you use Outlook as your chosen email service?
