Micromax can be credited with being one of the first local companies to introduce budget-friendly Android smartphones in the Indian market, without too much of a compromise on specifications. While not up to the manufacturing standards of International OEMs, Micromax devices definitely give most mid-range devices from these companies a run for their money, by offering better specs at a cheaper price.

Micromax has also been known for flooding the local market with numerous devices month after month, attempting to cater the needs of a large and varied consumer base. This strategy certainly seems to have worked, with the company now the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the country, while also hoping to take the fight to market leaders Samsung.

Micromax has close 25 Android smartphones currently available in the Indian market, with the list growing continuously, and it can get quite confusing for consumers, so we thought it best to provide a complete list of Micromax smartphones, categorized by price.

Note: Every section features a comparison table at the end, of all the smartphones in that particular price category.

canvas HD is the best value for money phone from micromax. at around $200 mark, they have really hit the sweet spot. the phone build is a bit poor, and the camera is sub par, but the display is nice, the SoC is fine, and 4.2.2 runs very well and close to stock android. so, a very well rounded product from micromax. the canvas 4 is good too – but isn’t as good a value for money product, especially since it has almost identical specs as of canvas HD.

    • jay Elliott

Lol micromax!! Single handedly flooded the market second only to samsung!! Well thats an achievement…

      • APai

it’s not only flooded. people actually bought plenty of them. apple couldn’t do it even if they tried “flooding”.

    • Milav

Gionee Elife E3 take a review of that also not market leader but will change game soon

      • Tuấn Ankh

Exact same phone with my BLU Life Play which is claimed to be designed in Florida.
I can’t see it changing the game anytime soon since it’s just a cheap phone made to be rebranded (or maybe it was also a rebranded phone?)

Micromax satisfied both-the seller and the buyers. Good competitiveness with the giants in mobile markets.

why ? don’t you get reviews of apple/ samsung/ htc range ? people never complain about a particular range of phones now do they ?

    • Balraj

      I don’t like micromax !!
But nice article for ppl who like it

    • Q.

Micromax phones have got a lot of potential.

    • Tuấn Ankh

Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 is the exact same phone with the BLU Life View.
      Just saying. xD

      • APai

most of these phones are “made to order” from the phone-kitchens of china, give them the standard recipes, with a slight change in flavor, you’ll have your own branded phone. however, where micromax got it right was perhaps the marketing and distribution (not without hiccups, but they’ve done it right for a couple of years now)

    • Himanshu

I just bought canvas doodle 2 after lot of researching. I had to choose between note 2 and doodle because of the budget. It’s a bit early to say but i am really liking it,huge display, good resolution, nice camera. Thanks to http://micromax-phones.com
