While we all wait (and wait and wait…) for the high-end Ascend D Quad and Ascend P1 to be released by Huawei in the US, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is still pushing towards the lower…
It was only a month ago that we saw leaked pictures the LG Motion 4G. While it was already established back then that the phone would be heading to MetroPCS, it’s only now that the carrier has made it official.
Let's welcome the LG Motion 4G to the list of Android smartphones offered by MetroPCS . The phone’s 4G LTE radio isn’t the only thing that the carrier is touting, as the phone holds the honor of being MetroPCS’ first to feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The phone has a 3.5-inch Gorilla Glass display and is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. It comes equipped with a 5MP rear shooter and Cheese Shutter, which allows you to snap pictures using your voice. The camera is good enough to capture 1080p HD video, and you can take picture and record video at the same time. Like its L-series cousins, you’ll also find the LG Quick Memo app inside.
The LG Motion 4G can be had for $150 with a two-year contract. Thanks to the promotional 4G LTE service plan that MetroPCS is currently offering, the unlimited data, text and voice plan will only set you back $55 a month for a single line. If you can convince your family to sign up for an extra line, you’ll get a $50 rebate for the second device purchased and $5 off of the monthly service plan.
