Although the Meizu MX2 doesn't launch until November 27th in Beijing, we already seem know quite a bit about the upcoming smartphone. Not only is it believed to have quad-core power under the hood, we now have a new leak that suggests the MX2 will start at just 2599 yuan,or about $417, for the 16GB version.
While this is by no means cheap, it is actually a relatively low price when you consider the hardware that the device is said to feature. The quad-core processor inside is rumored to be an Exynos 4412 1.6GHz CPU, the same processor found in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 16-64GB of storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 1930 mAh battery and 4.4-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800. As for the OS? It is believed to likely run on Android 4.1 with a new version of the FlyMe UI.
Keep in mind, both the specs and the pricing are just rumors at this point, so take them with a grain of salt. We will know more for sure when the Meizu MX2 is officially announced on November 27th. What do you think of the Meizu MX2, intrigued or not?
