Mcdonalds has crafted their own app to deliver the same type of service: customers hit up the mobile app, purchase their order, and stand in a separate express line for pickup.

In conclusion, only 30 McDonald’s restaurants are participating in the trial, among the 30,000 that exist worldwide. With all eyes set on France, the new world of mobile payments in a wide range of store categories seems to be picking up popularity.
