LG’s Optimus series has proven to be quite a hit amongst budget-conscious buyers. With over 10 million handsets sold, we’re sure LG is keen on releasing follow-up models, such as the one we’re hearing now about a new variant of the Optimus L7.

The new model reportedly will be known as the Optimus L7 Dual. As you might’ve guessed, it will be equipped with dual SIM capability. What else does it have to offer?

From the leaked specs, we know that the Optimus L7 Dual will still be powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and come with the same 4.3-inch IPS display. But as mentioned, it will pack two SIM card slots inside. It’ll also sport an 8MP rear camera, a 2,460mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Seeing that the Optimus L7 was introduced at last year’s Mobile World Congress, we can expect the Dual version to make an appearance at the same tech event. Moreover, those in Russia might be able to get the phone early, as it’s rumored to be out in mid-February for the equivalent of $430.
